Three calm steps.

SlowTV is designed so the hard thinking happens once, up front — and the day-to-day experience for your child is as simple as turning on a TV. Channels, not videos. Always on.

1

Pair a device with a code

Open SlowTV on a spare phone, tablet, or TV box. It shows a short pairing code — enter it in the parent portal to link the device to your account. No child account, no login on the device itself.

2

Pick channels and set limits

From the parent portal you choose which channels are on, what content fills them, the hours the screen is allowed, and a daily limit. Everything syncs to the device live — change it from your phone any time.

3

The kid just watches

On the device there are no menus, no thumbnails, and no app switching. Up and down change the channel; that’s it. When the daily limit is reached, the screen calmly winds down on its own.

What the child can and can't do

Can

Change channels, pause and play, and adjust volume — using a remote, the device buttons, or the single hard-to-trigger on-screen channel knob.

Can't

Browse a library, search, get recommendations, open other apps, or leave SlowTV. The back gesture never exits playback — only a parent unlock does.
